These days I have been using a new strategy to get more backlinks, didn't test it too much but I got some results You already know HARO and how powerful it is to get backlinks from big domains. However, everyone here answers to journalists practically begging to them to include a new backlink to their sites and since this is usually free, they end up with their inbox full of emails making yours soo hard to be seen. So what I have been testing here is to do the opposite, instead of answering to journalist, be the journalist! Basically, I create a new query myself looking for sources = people looking for backlinks. Once I receive them all, I just build an article for each using their query and include a new dofollow link to their site, but here's the trick, since you don't want to hurt your domain with low DR links, all these posts will be created with robots = 'noindex' tags and the link won't be added to the typical /blog page - do not add any reference to that link in your domain, not even in the sitemap. Then we message them saying 'Congrats we liked your query so we included in one of our articles...' and send them the link- they will just look for the link to their site and check if it's dofollow, no one looks at the 'noindex' meta tag. finally found a sub to ask this in So pretty much recently i found that, for example, if i wanted to see moskva, in russian its "москва", but like if i search up "mockba" in english, it will show up. why is this? i can search up murmansk as well, "mypmahck" or kazan, "ka3abh". I have been working in SEO for over 15 years, and never used SEMRush due to the cost and being able to find and implement keywords without that expense. Now I am with a new company who has a year of SEMRush already paid for so it looks like I will be forced to use it. Hi all, Last year, I hired a technical SEO specialist who worked with us for around 15 months. During that time, we created and published 50 blogs — but got zero traffic. While I understand that the nature of search is changing rapidly with AI, I honestly didn’t expect zero results. What’s been more frustrating is the lack of proactiveness. Something does not add up here... Perplexity CEO said in May they had 780,000 Search Queries = 26.000/day. Google is estimated at 8.5 billion search queries per day (≈89%). ChatGPT is estimated at approx 1.0 billion per day. This would get Perplexity around only 0.0003059% of all search queries/day - this looks extremely low (will say unrealistic) in my humble opinion.
