About 98% of the traffic comes from Bing. My bounce rate is 74%, and I have an average session duration of 63 seconds over the last 90 days. Google had indexed about approximately 43,000 of my pages by mid-May. Nevertheless, I received almost no traffic. Since mid-May, my pages have been gradually deindexed from Google. In the last 5 months, I had an average monthly increase in visitors of 55%. This increase actually came solely from Bing. I have been operating the platform Bonscore for seven months. I provide credit reports for German companies. The credit reports are only visible after registration, meaning they are not indexed. For each company, there is an overview page that is indexed. On this company page you can find: Basic data: industry, managing director, share capital, etc. Ranking for the company Financial data (charts and text) In total, I have approximately 45,000 such company pages. Additionally, I have experimented a bit with programmatic SEO. I have several thousand pages titled "Companies in City XY" and "The Largest Companies in District XY." Also I have written some blog articles (with the help of AI) to rank for relevant keywords. However, the blog articles generate very little traffic. Hey friends, I have a site on a ccTLD, say mysite.de, that ranks really well in Germany. I serve other languages from subdomains, like for english I use en.mysite.de. Now I acquired the .com domain and want to take my website international. The .com domain will help rank in other countries as well I hope. For this, I also plan a big site update that will change the url structure to support this. Part of this plan is to use folders for each language instead of subdomains, so mysite.com/de/ and mysite.com/en/. Now my question; should I switch domains first, keeping the current site and url structure intact on the new domain and update that after migration has stabilized? Or should I do all the changes at once? I’ve found contradicting takes on this on both 3rd party blogs and Google’s own blog about this, but it seems like doing the domain first and then changing the site structure a few months later seems like the most safe way to go about it. I’ve moved domains for this site once before a couple years ago - without switching structure - and that went well, didn’t lose rankings. Interested to hear your thoughts, thanks for any advice! submitted by /u/AlabamaMan74 [link] [comments]
