I am fixing rich snippet issues from the Reviews report in GSC. I have about 30 pages that have been fixed but GSC refuses to validate the fix. Live page shows everything correct, caches have been cleared. The same pages have failed to validate for weeks now. Any thoughts or experience with this? submitted by /u/valuerockr [link] [comments]
Hello - as of a few months ago, I was ranking top 3 consistently for my main keywords. As of the past month, I have noticed that my main keyword has been incredibly volatile in my SEM Rush reporting. Some days I am in the #2 spot, then the next day I will drop to spot #33. Does anyone have any insights on why this may be happening as well what the next steps would be? Prior to this past month, I was consistently in the top 5 for my main keyword. Thanks in advance! Looking forward to reading the responses. submitted by /u/pdx216 [link] [comments]
Friends, bloggers, publishers, marketers, we are all in the same boat. Google takes our content and serves it up in its AI Overview, clicks have now become a true mirage. In the countries where AI Mode was released there is a real bloodbath. Just here to tell you, you're not alone. submitted by /u/SchemeTurbulent7279 [link] [comments]
This is a challenging issue, even for experts well-versed in GA4. Our client’s setup combines both the root domain and subdomain into one property, as reflected in both GA4 and Google Search Console. On the main website, the product page CTAs link internally to the shop page, but these links include the _gl and "_gcl_au" parameters. This suggests the issue is related to GA4 or Google Tag Manager. Initially, before identifying the cause, we had developers try to remove the parameters manually in the site code and also remove the Channel Insights and Pardot scripts. These changes had no effect. After further investigation, I discovered that the "_gl" and "_gcl_au" parameters are likely being injected by GA4 cross-domain tracking via GTM. In Google Tag Manager, I checked: > Settings > Configure Your Domains The suggested domains only show the full domain, not individual subdomains, so I can't disable tracking on just one without impacting the other. Doing so could cause session splitting. This confirms the _gl parameter is likely coming from GA4’s cross-domain tracking, possibly configured in the GA4 UI or through GTM’s linker settings. Now I’m at a crossroads: not sure where to proceed from here on out. submitted by /u/LengthinessAny7553 [link] [comments]
Try to browse on the map for "massage in Business Bay". Rank No.1 will be those with stuffed keywords. Is this even ok? submitted by /u/Away-Owl-6651 [link] [comments]
I have been trying to understand what does this "Discovered - currently not indexed" mean but I am not able to figure out what is wrong and what needs to be done. Around 17k Blog posts on my WordPress website show Page Indexing status as Discovered - currently not indexed . I also ran the validation and the Validation Passed several months back, still there is no improvement in the indexed pages. The last crawled date for all these pages is N/A. Can someone pls guide me what could be wrong and how I can fix it? Thanks in advance for your kind help submitted by /u/Bubbly-Clock7065 [link] [comments]
We do the SEO for a client with a very specific, niche business. Over time, they've eaten up their competition by buying them out. Now, they own 5-6 websites in the same niche-- websites that previously belonged to their competitors. Some of them have the same hosting/ IP addresses, but not all. I'm concerned about them getting flagged or de-indexed for having what looks like a PBN or false competition. In reality, they just own all these websites now since they bought out their competitors, so all the businesses themselves are slightly different but essentially provide the same service. Are there any risks of getting penalized or running into issues here? How could we avoid problems and maximize our results here? submitted by /u/Icy_Pace9521 [link] [comments]
I've create many blogs from high DR website that have dofollow link to my e-commerce website but these blog didn't get listed on Google yet. So, I create a question and answer on Quora that have nofollow link to my blog, it get a lot of views but it still didn't get crawled by Google. I've also tried Ping-o-Matic but still not working. Is there anyway that I can get my blog listed on Google so it can pass SEO juice to my website? submitted by /u/Interesting_Sea_9684 [link] [comments]
We hired an SEO agency and they recommended that we move to a strategy where we try to direct all traffic to a service page on our catalog site. This feels a little wonky to me. We are a SAAS company, not an ecomm or service based business. Is there a name for this strategy? Have you seen it be effective? submitted by /u/Susan_Moeller [link] [comments]
I’ve been carving out SEO strategies for years, but there are two industries I still avoid like the plague: law firms and payment processors. Why? Because each wears a wardrobe of interchangeable titles that turn keyword research into a migraine on repeat. One minute you’re optimizing for “lawyer,” the next it’s “attorney.” Dive into payments and the chaos multiplies: “payment processing,” “credit-card processing,” “merchant services,” “merchant accounts.” Every synonym means rewriting your playbook, doubling, sometimes tripling the workload. So tell me: how do you keep your sanity when every keyword has three identical twins fighting for the spotlight? submitted by /u/LynxGeekNYC [link] [comments]
We have few websites which are witnessing way increase in impressions, sametime clicks are spiralling downwards. What do we need to do now, with search AI and AI overview on the top followed by ever-increasing sponsored posts, can we make a shot at first page of Google? Please share your thoughts? submitted by /u/EQ4C [link] [comments]
Say your client is a dentist in Brooklyn, NY. You set Semrush to track from Brooklyn, NY. Is it better to track “dentist near me” OR “dentist in Brooklyn”? Do you track both? I fear “near me” terms are subject to more volatility visibility wise, and in order to best track my local SEO efforts I figure paying attention to “dentist in Brooklyn” will give me a better idea over time as to how my client performs in SERPs. If any well-seasoned pros have input, please share your thought process! submitted by /u/No_Suggestion3428 [link] [comments]
Got a notice on one of our Instagram pages that public photos (from July 10th 2025) and videos may start to show up in search results. Historically, Insta and others have tried to block some search engine surfacing. What's your play as an SEO here? How are you going to mix in Instagram to your strategy? How do you think that figures into AI SEO? submitted by /u/coalition_tech [link] [comments]

Hi everyone, I run a small e-commerce site called Haneul Atelier, where I sell aesthetic mugs inspired by Korean design and culture. The site is getting some organic traffic (mostly from Pinterest, Instagram, and slowly from Google), but my conversion rate is stuck around 0.5–1%. I'm trying to figure out if the issue is with the UX, product pages, CTAs, page speed, or even the layout and copy. I've optimized basic SEO elements (meta titles, image alts, structured content), but still seeing high drop-off on product and cart pages. If anyone has time to take a quick look and share any thoughts — even small things — I'd really appreciate it. Here’s the store: https://haneulatelier.com Thanks in advance for your insights 🙏 submitted by /u/Ok_Pea_3904 [link] [comments]

Anyone know that guy who loves to shout he has 25 years of SEO Experience. I worked as a Media Buyer in 2002; a marketing director and mass emailer in 2005. All the stuff I did back then will not work today. Ive seen the internet evolve. If you took the best SEO guy from 25 years ago and put him here today he would be horrible. Experience is important but SEO and the internet in general is constantly changing. If your not evolving your falling behind. Your just another SEO company selling SEO and really just performing website management. submitted by /u/TheStruggleIsDefReal [link] [comments]
