Hi there, I’ve been in the SEO game for quiet some time and I really learned a lot through courses, books and other videos. However, at some point all these resources stopped teaching anything valuable. It was always the same thing. Write good content, interlink and get backlinks. I know the SEO game is changing with AI, it’s not dead just different I think. So, any recommendations for a good and modern SEO course for instance, that also teaches some AI/modern stuff? submitted by /u/Ok-Consideration2955 [link] [comments]
What algorithm determines how keywords are shown in AI Overview results with anchor text? I have a website where the keyword appears in the AI Overview results, but it doesn't use anchor text on the keyword. What could be the issue?" submitted by /u/jackleo8586 [link] [comments]
Hey guys, I’ve been in the SEO game for quiet a long time, always trying to learn from a variety of courses, books and videos. At some point, the advice was always the same. Create good content, interlink it and add some good backlinks. However, I feel like these days I’m not learning anything anymore. I know the SEO game is changing, but I doubt that it is dead. It will be different for sure. So, does anyone has a recommendation of a good learning resource, either a course or a book or anything, where I can learn something that is more modern than the usual approach? submitted by /u/Ok-Consideration2955 [link] [comments]
Hi everyone! I’ve been doing SEO for 18 years and I’m stumped. Any help massively welcome. We’ve got a very successful UK but launched a load of international ones. M2 platform. Done all the obvious; language change, English removed, HREFlang tags, some backlinks to each, customer reviews. Pages sitting in crawled but not indexed for months now? Tried validating multiple times. Even got servers in each country now. Still nothing. UK is getting impressions in all those countries. Any other ideas please? Anyone else found a solution to this? Thanks submitted by /u/nick-tea [link] [comments]
Hey, I'm digging into SEO and content, and while working on finding ways to build backlinks, chatgpt keeps telling me to push my content here. I'm really not sure as it would feel spammy and seems to be against many Reddit rules. Any advice? submitted by /u/yioktu [link] [comments]
Hi, this has probably been asked a 1,000 times 😹 I'm photographer that desperately trying to get her website on the 1st Page of Google (Who isn't? haha), but I've been struggling with SEO. I think my website is pretty okay, I've done the on-page SEO (I hope) and I've got some backlinks from a popular local Bloggers. What am I missing here? Why am I so low in Google Search? - Right now I'm on the 9th Page for the search "Newborn Photographer" - 11th Page for "Newborn Photoshoot" - 7th Page for "Baby Photoshoot" I know just moved from a nearby city, but why am I so low? I don't think my area is super competitive, but this seems incredibly low. If anyone has any tips or insights that would be amazing. Oh, you might wanna look at my hard to find website https://dreamyfoxphotography.co.uk/ I'm using Wordpress with Hostinger as my host. Do I need more backlinks? More local SEO? Any SEO expert recommendations? Should I use a local company? 🥲 submitted by /u/Competitive-Tie6591 [link] [comments]
After a ranking drop I am seeing Gambling and Bingo sites in GSC. Weeks after removing them from the website and bolstering security. I have cleaned the Database and more. How long will they take to disappear? submitted by /u/jaycookz [link] [comments]
Does anyone have a similar problem? Since 20.05, our Swiss site has been losing visibility and impressions, and after analysis in the SC, it turns out that Google is setting the Austrian counterpart as canonical. hreflang-tags are present and correct in my opinion. Affects both categories and product pages. Anyone have any idea how to put an end to this incorrect procedure? (new indexing of the pages initiated today) submitted by /u/Less-Trash-18 [link] [comments]
I run an online store that sells tiles (floor, wall, bathroom tiles, etc.). What can I do to increase my website’s visibility in search engines? How should I write effective category and product descriptions for SEO? What actions should I take to improve my store's ranking and attract more organic traffic? submitted by /u/Defiant_Figure_9640 [link] [comments]
SO I applied for an SEO specialist in Feb. but now I become the pm for this website. I need to design new functions to add new pages and then get ranking in Google. What I do most in my daily job is to communicate with the front-end developper. Almost all backlink and on-page seo jobs are arranged to my intern bcz I have no time spared for them. Is this normal? submitted by /u/iwillbeviolet [link] [comments]
I'm very confused, I write a new blog in high DR website(Medium) that link to my website for SEO. My blog doesn't get crawled, so I Ping my blog in Ping-o-Matic, after a week. My blog still didin't get listed. Is Ping-o-Matic actually working? submitted by /u/Interesting_Sea_9684 [link] [comments]
Hey SEO community, I’ve got a niche landing page targeting a high-intent keyword. On-page SEO is solid, and I’ve done internal linking from multiple blog posts — though most use the same anchor text (exact match). Now I’m considering two things: Diversifying internal anchors with related/partial match terms Creating highly relevant supporting blogs like: Benefits of using a "Main Keyword" How to choose the best "Main Keyword" Why taking a practice version is helpful on "Main Keyword" Common mistakes to avoid All these would link back to the main landing page with natural anchors. Just wondering: Have any of you seen rankings improve by building out this kind of content cluster around a transactional keyword? Or do you think it’s mostly the backlinks and page authority that do the heavy lifting? Would love to hear from those who’ve tried this recently. submitted by /u/hiteshpatell1990 [link] [comments]
I remember back in the day (til now lol) we used to manually go through and do outreach for links, but would anyone help a brother out with some recommendations on an automated/AI way to do this? I’m sure there’s something out there :’) submitted by /u/HeatheN_101 [link] [comments]
Reference my previous posts, I am using SiteGround which is a fabulous host for small businesses and agencies hosting small businesses. My site has graduated to enterprise level. It’s a Wordpress site with over a million pages. Potential to go to 5-6 million. I looked at VPS, still didn’t like the costs or the risks. I am considering staging on a gaming desktop and then pushing to an S3 bucket. How crazy am I? What are the pitfalls as far as SEO? No domain changes. submitted by /u/No_Mycologist4488 [link] [comments]
Looking for backlinks on websites related to the following topics: 1.) Women owned business 2.) Manufacturing 3.) Outdoor riding gear / apparel 4.) Home services 5.) Air filtration / air quality 6.) Aquariums / water quality / water conditioning 7.) Surgical / medical 8.) Grilling / pizza / pellet stoves I’m interested in websites that are owned by a company with a product or service to sell. Not news-style websites/blogs that talk about one or more of those topics along with finance, crypto, casinos, etc. submitted by /u/Striking-Impact-4757 [link] [comments]
How to do "Keyword Research"? I know Google is the answer, and after I finish this I'll start Googlein', but how does one do Keyword Research for your website? I made a shop and now want to find 3-5 keywords to target to start at $10/day total. How does one do this Research? Is there an app? Software? Website? I’m an author of 100+ listicle blog articles that highlight the top websites across different industries. I'm currently updating and expanding about 15-20 of the lists to include the most impressive, well-designed, and effective websites in various home services industries. Everything from plumbers, electricians, landscapers, home builders, contractors, pest control experts, etc. If you’d like to be considered for inclusion, I’m offering rented and permanent positions. The cost helps cover the time it takes to evaluate, format, and update the listicle. Site metrics include a 74 DR, 20+ year old domain, and actual traffic/rankings. The pages are routinely updated with fresh content. If your website works, the paid inclusion covers: 1.) A screenshot I'll take of your homepage. 2.) A short write-up highlighting what I feel makes your website stand out. 3.) A link to your website for my readers to review your site in further detail. 4.) A "featured" callout on the inclusion, to help you get further attention. 5.) A possible mention in social media or ads posts in the future. The listing will stay in the article for at least several years, assuming your website doesn't go offline or become degraded. Inclusion is limited, and only websites that genuinely meet the quality standards of the list will be featured. The quality standards include: 1.) The website must be mobile friendly. The website won't be accepted if it doesn't scale on mobile. 2.) The website must have easily readable content, not full of spelling / grammar issues, broken pages, etc. 3.) The website must have a pleasing design and offer qualities that others in the industry would appreciate. If you're interested in being considered, send me a message with your website URL. I’ll take a look and let you know if your site will work. Please understand it might take 1-2 days for me to review your suggested website. Thanks! I have a client site with both a cookie banner as well as a legal disclaimer interstitial that covers most of the page (it's not an age gate). I just discovered that if I'm incognito on my phone, the cookie banner tool we're paying for is smart enough to only show itself once, but the legal disclaimer that was manually coded keeps loading and covering up the content on every page load and needs to be closed every single damn time. Do you think this is hurting my SEO as Google crawls through the site? On Lighthouse test / chromium it renders the disclaimer interstitial :/ I'd imagine for crawling and indexing purposes though Google is smart enough to figure it out and not load the popup when it does it's re-rankings and page renders, but who knows? Google surely can't be tripped up by something like this when they index billions of pages a day, or can they?? Or is every single site in regulated industries like alcohol, tobacco, adult etc with legal disclaimers on them at a huge disadvantage?? Traffic has been on the decline for over a year, so that's why I'm looking into previously overlooked issues. Thank you very mucho everyone!! Willing to pay for consultation if someone has done this before and can prove it. submitted by /u/Traquer [link] [comments]
